GOLDEN TICKET GIVEAWAY
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN—Purchases on channel199.com (the “Website”) during the Promotion Entry Period (as defined below) are not required to participate in the Giveaway. Section 5 herein provides an alternative method of entry—a write-in method.
1. Sponsor: The Sponsor of the “Channel199 Win a Day at Pastranaland Giveaway” (the “Giveaway”) is Channel199 LLC, a Maryland limited liability company (“Ch199” or the “Sponsor”), located at 11350 McCormick Road, Hunt Valley, MD 21031. “Pastranaland” is located in Davidsonville, Maryland 21035.
2. Eligibility: Eligible participants in the Giveaway only include legal residents of any of the fifty (50) states of the United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees, independent contractors, interns, officers, directors, and agents of Ch199, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers, professional advisors, advertising, public relations, and fulfillment agencies, consultants, legal counsel, website providers, web masters, and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. IF YOU DO NOT MEET ANY OF THESE REQUIREMENTS, OR ANY OTHER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN THE PRIZE DESCRIBED IN THESE RULES.
3. Agreement to Comply with and Abide by Rules: By entering the Giveaway, the contestant ("You") agree to comply with and abide by these Official Rules, Terms, and Conditions (these “Rules”) and the decisions of the Sponsor, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. You agree to accept all decisions made by the Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the Giveaway. Entrants should look solely to the Sponsor with any questions, comments or issues related to the Giveaway.
4. Entry Period: The Giveaway begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time on January 30, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on February 28, 2026. Write-in entries must be received by February 28, 2026 (the "Entry Period"). Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by Sponsor, not the time of transmission by Entrant. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. The winner of the Giveaway will be contacted by Ch199 and announced by Ch199 no later than March 16, 2025.
5. How to Enter:
Purchase entries. During the Entry Period, visit https://channel199.comand purchase any product for sale on the Website. Limit one purchase entry per person.
Write-in entries. Send an Email with your full name, address, phone, email, and a short note about your favorite moment at Pastranaland to:
ch199giveaway@gmail.com . Limit one write-in entry per person.
6. Prizes: There will be no more than two (2) winners of the Giveaway (collectively, the “Winner(s)”). The Winner(s) of the Giveaway will each receive the following prize (collectively, the “Prize”):
◦ One (1) Round Trip Airfare to Baltimore/Washington International Airport (“BWI”)
◦ One (1) Single Night Stay Accommodation within thirty (30) miles of Pastranaland
◦ One (1) Rental Car
◦ One (1) Day Experience at Pastranaland
The Prize has an approximate retail value of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) per Winner. Travel includes round trip airfare from the major airport nearest each Winner’s residence to BWI and hotel accommodations for one (1) night. Actual value of the trip Prizes will depend on airfare fluctuations and point of departure. Any difference between the stated value and actual value will not be awarded. All travel accommodations and arrangements are at the Sponsor’s discretion. Certain blackout dates and restrictions apply.
No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at the Sponsor's sole discretion. The Prize is nontransferable. Substitution of the Prize or assignment of the Prize to others or request for the cash equivalent of the Prize is not permitted. Any and all Prize related expenses, including, without limitation,any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. Acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission by the Sponsor to use the Winner’s name, likeness, and biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law.
All other expenses are the sole responsibility of the Winner(s). This includes, but is not limited to:
• Guest accompaniment (with approval by the Sponsor in its sole discretion), which guest must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older
• Airport parking
• Meals and supplies
For Entrants to be eligible for the Giveaway by and through the purchase method, exchange of the product(s) purchased from the Website is not permitted during the Entry Period. Receipt by the Sponsor of a return request for the product(s) purchased by an Entrant during the Entry Period shall disqualify such Entrant from the Giveaway. Once the Winner is announced, should the Winner have entered the Giveaway by and through the purchase method, the product(s) purchased from the Website during the Entry Period shall no longer be eligible for return to Ch199. Once the Winner is announced, the product(s) purchased from the Website during the Entry Period of all other entrants in the Giveaway that did not win shall be eligible for return after the Entry Period; provided that the product(s) are unused and in their original condition and packaging. The shipping costs for all permitted exchanges shall be borne by the customer and are nonrefundable.
7. Odds of Winning: The odds of winning the Prize depends on the number of eligible entries received.
8. Winner Selection and Notification: A random drawing will be conducted on or about seven (7) days after the end of the Entry Period by Sponsor to select the Winner(s) from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. The Winner(s) will be notified by the Sponsor within seven (7) days of such Winner being selected by and through the random drawing via the Email such Winner provided to the Sponsor. The Sponsor shall have no liability for the any Winner(s) failure to receive notices due to spam, junk Email or other security settings or for a Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If any Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the Prize within seven (7) days from the time award notification was sent to such Winner by the Sponsor, or fails to timely return a completed and executed Assumption of Risk and Waiver and Release of Liability as required by Section 10 herein, the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner shall be selected by the Sponsor from all remaining eligible entries. Only five (5) alternate drawings will be held, after which the Prize will remain un-awarded.
Receipt of the Prize offered in this Giveaway by the Winner(s) is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Any violation of these Rules by the Winner(s), any such violation as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, will result in the Winner(s) disqualification as winner of the Giveaway, and all privileges as winner of the Giveaway will be immediately terminated. Each potential winner of the Giveaway is subject to verification by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway. An entrant is not a Winner unless and until the Entrant has been notified by the Sponsor that he or she has won the Giveaway, the Entrant’s eligibility has been verified, he or she has signed and returned the Assumption of Risk and Waiver and Release of Liability, and the Entrant has been notified that verification is complete and no further action is needed.
9. Rights Granted by the Entrant: By entering this Giveaway, You understand and agree that the Sponsor and anyone acting on behalf of the Sponsor or its respective licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Giveaway, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. By entering this Giveaway by submitting a short note about your favorite moment at Pastranaland, you represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, you will be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, you shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ch199 from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which Ch199 may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.
10. Assumption of Risk and Waiver and Release of Liability. Upon receiving notification of selection as the Winner of the Giveaway, the Winner (and any approved guest(s)) shall sign the Assumption of Risk and Waiver and Release of Liability form provided by the Sponsor in order to observe and, if applicable, participate in any and all activities at Pastranaland for which an assumption of risk and waiver and release of liability is appropriate.
Entrants acknowledge that there may be inherent risks in some aspects of thePrize (e.g., observing and/or participating in activities at Pastranaland) which may involve participating in dangerous activities. By accepting the Prize and signing the Assumption of Risk and Waiver and Release of Liability, the Winner intends to accept that risk.
11. Integrity of Giveaway: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Giveaway. In such cases, the Sponsor may select a Winner(s) from eligible entries received before and/or after the action taken by the Sponsor if appropriate. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or Website or violates these Rules. The Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Giveaway, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer by the same user; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an Entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of Liability: By entering the Giveaway, You agree to release and hold harmless Ch199 and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, members, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors (the “Released Parties”) from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, arising out of or in connection with participation in this Giveaway or the acceptance, use or misuse of any Prize.
IN NO EVENT WILL CH199 OR THE RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE TO ENTRANTS FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, DATA, BUSINESS OR PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH ENTRANTS’ PARTICIPATION IN THE GIVEAWAY, WHETHER SUCH LIABILITY ARISES FROM ANY CLAIM BASED UPON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, AND WHETHER OR NOT ENTRANTS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS OR DAMAGE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to You.
13. Disputes: This Giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. By participating in this Giveaway, You agree that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the Sponsor and You, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively through binding arbitration conducted by JAMS in accordance with JAMS then-current Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures. The arbitration will be held in Baltimore County, Maryland, before a single neutral arbitrator, and such arbitration shall be confidential.
14. Winners List: To request a copy of the winners list please contact the Sponsor at hey@channel199.com. Requests shall be sent within forty-five (45)days after the end of the Entry Period.
15. No Social Network Sponsorship: The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn or any other social networks that are used to share the Giveaway. You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor.
16. Extended Meanings, Currency and Force Majeure: Unless otherwise specified in these Rules, words importing the singular include the plural and vice versa and words importing gender include all genders. All dollar amounts referred to in these Rules are in lawful money of the United States of America. Sponsor is not responsible for any damages caused by delay or failure to perform undertakings pursuant to these Rules when the delay or failure is due to weather, event cancellations, public health crisis or pandemic including COVID-19, fires, strikes, pandemics, floods, acts of God or the state’s enemies, lawful acts of public authorities, delays or defaults caused by common carriers, or other events that cannot reasonably be foreseen or provided against. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision of the Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision. Headings are solely for convenience of reference and will not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of the documents or any provision hereof.
17. Acceptance of Rules: By participating in the Giveaway, You represent and warrant that you have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all of these Rules.
18. Void Where Prohibited: Not all services described in this Agreement are available to all persons or at all locations. The Sponsor reserves the right to limit, at its sole discretion, the provision of any such services to any person or in any location. Any offer of a service in this Agreement shall be deemed void where prohibited.
